The Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, ranked among the most productive cast-iron toy manufacturers in the United States in the early 20th century. Though Arcade Manufacturing Company rivaled Hubley in overall production, Hubley surpassed Arcade in cast-iron toy stove production. Hubley's "Eagle" line of toy ranges offered more sizes and types of stoves than any other line on the market at the time. An example of Hubley's popular "Eagle" line, this ornately embossed stove has four burners and a reservoir, a decorative backpiece with two teapot shelves, and a detachable side hearth.
