Tractor:John Deer

Begun as a one-man blacksmith shop, the John Deere company has been making agricultural machinery since 1837. Its distinctive green and yellow colors and its leaping deer logo have become icons of American culture in the same way its slogan, "Nothing runs like a Deere," is instantaneously familiar. Toy models of John Deere farm equipment have been around since about the 1920s.
