Transistor radio, plastic / metal, designed and made by Regency Division IDEA Inc, Indianapolis, United States of America, 1954-1958. Regency transistor radio housed in a red coloured plastic unit with a gold circular tuning dial with frequency numbers at the top. Underneath the tuning dial are square plastic holes covering mesh and the speaker. There is an ON/OFF volume knob at the top and the back comes apart to reveal the transistor circuitry. An earphone socket on the side.
