This set of utensils was used for tea ceremonies taking place during outdoor activities and occasions; it showed the owner’s refined taste. The tea bowl was made during the Korean Dynasty period (15th-16th century). It is in the cylindrical shape with inlay patterns depicting wild geese and bracken shoots. The gourd-shaped tea caddy is Seto ware in yellowish-brown color. The tea scoop is formed in the shape called “imo chashaku” (a potato tea scoop), which has a bamboo leaf-shaped bowl on its head and a small ball on its end. The drawstring bag for tea bowl is made of damask with plums, cherry blossoms, and a plaid pattern on a purple background.
