In the temple with main worship of Palden Lhamo, the western and eastern interior
walls are decorated with treasure offerings and paintings depicting the
landscape with mountains, rivers, forest, tree, flowers, fine kinds of
livestock, four powerful animals, wildlife, Buddhist worship icons, offerings,
music instruments and ritual implements and temples, all illustrated precisely
and colored in elaborate juxtaposition.

This painting illustrated with mineral color on clay wall background expose the
landscape, objects, animals of various forms comprise authentic Mongolian
traditional style and characteristics of painting, composition, exaggeration
and allegories and has warm coloration and unified composition in
juxtaposition. The shape, form and movements of objects are expressed through
thin, pliable and precise lines in intricate and articulate manner.

 The tawny mule, mount of Palden Lhamo and other animals depicted are the mounts of
wrathful deities and other sanctified and protected animals, all of which
compose thirteen in total, the symbolic number of worship of Mongolians,
representing the four directions and four intermediate directions, the sky and
the earth and the three times of the past, present and future. There are the
Eight auspicious symbols or Ashtamangala depicted as follows:

White Parasol: that cools down theheat and eradicates all troubles;

Pair of Golden Fishes: that represents thealertness and sleeplessness and tranquility;

Golden Bumpa –
Treasure Vase:that fulfills all wishes and bestows endless treasure and contains holy water
of eternity;

White Lotus: that symbolizes thespread of sacred virtues and holy doctrines and eternal peace;

White Conch shell: that glorifies themagnificence, the peace and awakens from the darkness of ignorance;

Endless Knot (Lucky
Diagram):that symbolizes the spread of generosity and benevolence and unity for
eternity;

Victory Banner - Dhvaja: that represents the symbol of victory and triumph of dharma;

Golden Wheel -
Khorlo:that has a thousand spokes and fulfills all wishes and goals
