Trees in Bloom

Besides the theme of High Tatras, Mednyánszky was also fascinated by the lowlands, where he went to paint the puszta and the river Tisa. Here also belongs this swamp landscape, where he presents a specific rendering of a mist from the river and the surrounding trees, which he depicts in monochrome tones of brown.
