The "Monarch de Luxe No.15b" was in the upper price range of gramophones available on the European market in around 1905. Technical highlights include a powerful 3-spring motor, a movable tonearm with Exhibition sound box, and a swiveling horn. The Art Nouveau bronze reliefs on 3 sides are a unique feature. The device played all record sizes of that time, including the recently introduced 12-inch shellac records.
