Triton shell

The triton shell is a species of predatory sea snail and constitutes the class Gastropoda that typically grows up to 30 cm. This species is the only natural enemy of the reef-destroying starfish. Used as a musical instrument in the royal palaces in the past, this species is now used for food globally. Currently, it has been designated and protected as Endangered Wild Species Class I of Korea.
