Victorian’s Women’s Surfing Championship perpetual trophy. Australian petroleum company Ampol was an early sponsor of surfing contests in Australia.This perpetual trophy celebrates the yearly winners of the Victorian State Championship for women surfers from 1964 to 1970. The winners were Gail Couper 64, Ruth Marriott 65, Gail Couper 66, Gail Couper 67, Gail Couper 68, Jan Saunders 1969 and Gail Couper again in 1970.
