The composition of Ryszard Krzywka, made using the linocut technique, uses an abstract language, consisting of regular and strongly geometrised forms. The pictorial field is divided into two equal parts by a vertical line, repeated several times on the right side. On the left side there is an oval form with stylized rays. Particular planes differ in texture in the characteristic manner for linocut. There are traces resulting from the matrix cross-cuts, thin, subtle grooves or puncturations with a variety of gradation. There are, finally, surfaces covered with a homogeneous, deep blackness. [F. Pręgowski]
