Velvet suit with a dickie-bow in the same material together with a cotton shirt. It belongs to the collection created specifically for the brand’s fashion show at the Gran Teatre de Liceu de Barcelona in the year 2000, with Esther Cañadas and Mark van der Loo as its protagonists. Javier Cañas Caramelo, from Galicia, created this firm in 1969 with a view to making quality raincoats. He soon extended production to create firstly a line of men’s clothing and soon after of women’s. The work of this firm is characterized by its restrained pragmatism, with designs for all tastes in which there is no room for brashness. Caramelo has been internationally successful thanks to meticulous designs in which the quality of the tailoring is the foremost element.
