A sculpture titled Twisted Torso by the South African sculptor Caroline van der Merwe (1932-2012). Short Biography: Caroline van der Merwe (Overdyck) was born in Iringa, Tanzania in 1932 and moved to South Africa in 1952. She studied at the Michaelis School of Fine Art from 1965 to 1967. She passed away in Pietrasanta Italy, where she was living since 1983, in 2012.
