Tylosaurus and the 108 Outlaws

Tylosaurus and the 108 Outlaws by Mu Pan (Taichung City, Taiwan, 1976) is inspired by Water Margin, an epic tale of struggle against tyranny and one of the four great novels of classical Chinese literature. The sea is a recurring feature in the work of Mu Pan, the scene of numerous battles. Mu Pan has made the mixture of cultures his personal brand. His works present multiple narrative layers, personal reflections on human behaviour where humour and violence often come together.
