U-tube manometer

U-tube manometer composed by a wooden cubic box. On the top there is a brass spout to contain the liquid and a quadrant with two needles and a graduated range from 0 to 90. On the main facet there is a glass U-tube that was filled with a liquid of a known density. One of the extremities is left open to the atmosphere, while the other is directly connected to the zone of measurement. The liquidmigrated in one of the two extremities, so that the difference in the liquid levels revealed the applied pressure.
