Un Ballo

With 'Un Ballo', Jiří Kylián, for the first time, created a work for and on the group of the company's young dancers (NDT 2). The title may be understood in the traditional connotation of a social event or literally translated - it is not the choreographer's intention to have the spectator search for deep or symbolical contents. Kylián describes his choreography as “a dance to music, nothing more”. He considers it an exercise in musicality and sensitivity between male and female partners.
