An advertisement for a 1930s Ford Roadster, similar to the car Elsie MacGill would have driven from Montreal to Ottawa to participate in wind-tunnel tests at the NRC (as remembered by her friend and NRC researcher J.J. Green).

“She wants to get a pilot's license someday and meanwhile takes out this suppressed desire on her car, driving it to and from the plant at a clip that makes Fort William cops shudder.” The Cincinnati Enquirer, 4 May 1941.
