Dress blue uniform coat, 1902-1916. Blue wool, thigh length, stand up collar, and shoulder loops. Seven brass buttons on single breasted closure. Buff piping on collar, shoulder loops, and on cuffs. Collar insignia include infantry badge (crossed rifles) with 8/F, and brass US.

Between 1902 and 1916, the 8th United States Infantry served in garrison in New York, and in the Philippines during the 1914 Moro Rebellion.
