Mr. Son Bong-hae took the Naval Academy examination in 1947 and 1949, then the Army Officer Examination in 1950. He was in the 19th graduating class from the Army General School in 1951 and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. The same year, he received the Silver Star Hwarang Order of Military Merit. Promoted to lieutenant in 1952, he served with the military until 1960. The artifacts donated are various certificates, articles, and costumes from the time.
