The two pictures from the series Charming presents banal objects with photographic realism: a construction compounded of standard, ordinary school chairs, and a hyper-realistically painted window, which occupies almost the entire painting surface. In the case of the first one, the compositional design of the canvas is determined by straight lines defined by the legs, seats and backs of pieces placed one on top of the other. The first row of chairs gives the intra-pictorial structure a geometrical order, which is, however, disturbed by the next “storey”, where they are distributed more randomly. The window, which constitutes the main theme of the second picture, is covered with a curtain hanging approximately in the middle of its height and, above it, one can see an almost totally black night sky. Near the top of the left corner of the composition on the windowpane surface, there is a visible reflection of white light – probably a round lamp illuminating the room reflection or the shape of the full moon.
