From the Artist: The Pandemic has had a profound impact on all of us. I’m so grateful for all that I have - family home and the ability to practice my craft. Home is most often synonymous with feelings of comfort and familial love, but for many, it has become a place of isolation and confinement. Everyday objects have taken on new meaning. The once banal has become the coveted. Time has gone from drought to tsunamic proportions, leaving few afloat. The process of creating my work is dependent on time - time to build, time to sculpt and refine, and time to glaze, wrap, dry and reapply the multitude of layers of glaze. Although subtle, the lanquidity of time has left an indelible mark, a color more complex and turbulent.
