Li Xiqi was born in Jinmen in 1938 and lives in Taiwan now. At the age of 16, he graduated from the Art Department of Taipei Normal School. He was the founder of Taiwan Modern Printing Association and Oriental Painting Association. In his early years, he participated in the Sino-Japanese Art Exchange Exhibition and the Fourth Tokyo International Print Exhibition. He has been to the United States, Britain, Japan, Italy, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao, Beijing and more than 20 other countries and regions for lectures and visits. Many works are collected by famous art galleries, art galleries and museums all over the world. He has won the 16th National Literature and Art Award, which symbolizes the highest achievement of Taiwan's art. In 1996, he published "Echo Journey - A Collection of Comments on Li Xiqi's Creation".
