Mariusz Waras, professionally known as M-City, is a Polish artist best known for his large-scale industrial themed murals. Combining hundreds of hand-cut stencils, the artist creates monumental urban interventions mixing intricate black and white compositions with splashes of colour.

The artist often draws inspiration from urban imagery like the factories, chimneys and cranes of his childhood in Eastern Europe. This work was painted on the outside of arts venue Skur2, located centrally in Stavanger harbour and is a typical example of the artist's monochrome, industrial style.
