This is a sampler worked by Harriett Line aged 12. The '88' after Harriett's aged probably refers to the year 1888. This would fit with the colour and style of the piece - the bright colours were possible after the discovery of synthetic dyes in 1856.
The text reads
Remember me when this you see
and do my failings all forgive
Twine a fair wreath around my name
and let it on they memory live.
