An alagni is a hanger made from ropes, wooden sticks or bamboo. A rudimentary storage furniture, it is found in public and residential spaces across Haryana. This alagni was recorded in a gher (cattle shed) of Damdama village, to hang mattresses and blankets used by the person working in the cattle shed.
