Yad Vashem

The father, Lazar, and the mother, Chana Apfeldorfer, passed their two oldest children Tzvi and Rivka to a Hungarian farmer in an attempt to save them. In exchange the farmer received a bar of gold and a cow. The parents were deported to the ghetto with their youngest daughter Feige, however after some time the farmer returned the children saying that Rivka was crying and asking for her mother. The whole family except the father perished in Auschwitz, Poland.
