This vacuum cleaner is the first result of the collaboration between several industrial designers from Ruton and Philips. The vacuum cleaner was praised in the advertisements of the day for its high suction power and enormous dust capacity of eight litres: 'months of vacuuming without emptying'.
Two plastic wheels are attached to the bottom. Two chrome-plated metal runners extend from the wheels toward the back. The combination of wheels and runners makes the device very stable and agile. The vacuum cleaner also has a suction power regulator. At the rear – the air discharge end – is a black plastic lid that covers the 525 watt motor with turbine and dust bag. A disposable paper bag can be placed inside the dust bag.
