The amateur photographer Joseph Eschenlohr (1886-1978) spent time in Nuremberg, among other places, between the 1930s and 1950s. On his travels, he captured the city in color slides. The photo shows a wall with a door in an interior. On the wall hang various panel paintings and painted wooden reliefs, which come from Nuremberg churches. Presumably they were kept safe in this place until the church buildings destroyed in 1945 were rebuilt. Above, a panel from Sebaldus Church (now on the south wall of the east choir). To the left and right of the door, respectively, a relief panel of an Annunciation, colored and gilded. The other works are donor panels; Inscription slide frame: "Nürnberg: Aus Kirchen 1949."
