The glasses of this outstanding designer constitute the largest group of works in the Art Nouveau glass collection of our museum. Emile Galle - this revolutionist in his industry, he was a botanist, chemist and poet. His original technique of work was to put several layers of colored glass on top of each other, and then subjecting them to acid etching, so that the decorations would remain. Decorations usually took the shape of beautiful flower goblets, stems or entire landscapes.
