A miniature vase made from opaque glass with an iridised surface that changed its appearance according to the angle of vision and produced iridescent colours. Such glass was a typical product of L. C. Tiffany, “glassmaker–researcher”, who was inspired by organic forms and patented hand made iridised or favrile glass. The vase was obtained in 1903 by the Croatian painter Bela Čikoš Sesija, during the time of his study tour in New York, US.
