In this calligraphy work executed in running-cursive script, the strokes are crisp and powerful, and the characters are precariously balanced in form. It is written in a fast-moving and vigorous way, generating a rhythmic beat of energy. On the other hand, while the space between the lines is broad, it is tight between each character in the vertical flow. The unique composition and energetic brushstrokes together demonstrate the artist’s innovative endeavour in the work.
