This landscape photograph shows Moscow, Idaho taken from Morrill Hall at the University of Idaho. On the reverse of the image an inscription was written:

"John from the window of my old office in Morrill HJall. My residence is about a half mile to the right of the stand-pipe. The main street runs the way the picture lies. Moscow natatorium lies behind."
