Quirinale Palace

Quirinale Palace
Rome, Italy

The Organ Fountain is located in the lower part of the Quirinale complex and is one of the oldest and most important monuments in the Palazzo. The lower part was built in 1560, while the upper part and the vault were decorated in 1596 by Pope Clement VIII. The installation of the still functioning hydraulic organ, which gives the fountain its name, dates back to that same period.
