The Mural Arts Program created this mural as part of an ongoing international collaboration: a French-American exchange in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Paris and Culturesfrance. This vibrant 4,800 square foot artwork is located on the western facade of the Viking Mill building in the East Kensington neighborhood. Alex Stolypine, an internationally renowned street artist known as "Psyckoze," led the project along with Philly's own master muralist Paul Santoleri, and mosaic artist Emilie Ledieu. They were assisted by a group of youth from the French artist collective "Bulle d'Ox," students in Mural Arts restorative justice programs The Guild and Art at the Court, and volunteer artists from the community.
