Virtudes Estate I

The urban area of Virtudes concisely illustrates the exploitation of the territory’s natural features, highlighting the valley slope, the presence of the Douro River and the landscaped terraces of the Virtudes’ garden. This area, within its current urban setting, represents a pleasant green spot with little change throughout time. Still persisting are the terraced slopes, that once allowed agricultural production in steep declivity, taking advantage of its exceptional climate conditions.
