Vishnu (Preserver God)

The trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesha is popular in Hindu mythology as portraying the Creator, Sustainer and Destroyer of the universe. This is an image of Vishnu with the usual iconographical features. He holds a disc and a conch in his rear hands. The palm of the front right hand with a flexed finger faces up and the left hand rests on his waist.
