Written communication and text signs are replaced by visual communication, for example with the colors of the rainbow denoting the three largest rivers. In addition, ticket offices and ferries were painted different colors to be more conspicuous. From your ticket, you can tell which color ferry to look for and you can follow colored lines on the port’s piers.
