This female figure is inspired by print number 61 of the well-known series Los Caprichos by another great Aragonese personality, Francisco de Goya. With great plasticity he models the figure, synthesizing her shapes and giving them great expressivity. It forms part of the series Amusements in the Prado (Entretenimientos en el Prado) in which Pablo Serrano pays homage to the grand masters of the Museo del Prado such as Velázquez, El Greco, Titian, and Goya. While he created his first 'amusements' in 1962, it was in 1974 when he returned to the series, creating a large number of reinterpretations in runs of various examples. These include other known works by Goya, such as The Nude Maja and The Clothed Maja, Saturn, The White Duchess, as well as Half-buried dog (Perro semihundido). That same year they would be displayed with a series of engravings created by the artist with the same themes, in which he portrays the figures through synthetic strokes.
