The Volutispina kasimir snail is the largest Cretaceous snail fossil featured in the museum collections of Kazimierz Dolny. Its mould is just under 30 cm long. It was found in Nasiłów in 1983. Scientists named some of the species discovered in the vicinity of Kazimierz after the town (kasimir).
