This is a multi coloured beaded waist belt made of red and white coloured beads stranded on a thread with animal skin spacers. It is made by women and girls. The spacers are made from cowhide and the thread used is twisted from baobab fiber which is cut from the bark of the baobab by young men. It is worn by girls when dancing.
