This wallet is decorated with a raised cloth picture. The picture is made up of many pieces of thick paper which are cut in a flower or bird shape. Each piece is wrapped in colorful silk fabric, padded with cotton in between, and is glued together to create a raised ornament. It was mostly used as an item carried by a wife of a high-ranking samurai.
