Composition in white tones, gray, green, earthy, ochre, rose and red. Thick texture with apparent strokes. It depicts woman washing clothes in tub in front, occupying the center of the composition. The laundress is facing with the head tilted down and long hair fallen forward covering his face. It arms bent at the chest and closed hands together holding a garment not set out of a trough which is in front. It is seen leaning against the chest of the laundress a kind of board in which is rubbing the clothes safe. The tub, which we see only part, reaches the height of the thighs of women. Background in the same gray tone of the washerwoman, with irregular areas with marked brushstrokes.
