Lee Ming-Chung’s work is full of imagination. He takes things in daily life and transcends them into abstract forms of daydreams. Through layering and ambiguous interpretation of visual images, the artist expresses a sense of sensual physicality. The artist hands over the power of interpretation of his works to the audience and allows them to extend their imagination into autonomous interpretation through the traces of clues. The power created from the stirring marks and plastic form elements interweaves into an unstable dynamic momentum, which flows and merges into imageries that create unique visual sensations.
