Weft winder

Using a weft winder, spooled of silk is wound onto bobbins, which will be placed in the shuttle to create the weft. The weft winder consists of a silk reel, a spindle and a bobbin. The spool is placed at one end of the winder, and one end of the yarn is attached to the bobbin. The silk reel is then turned by hand, and the yarn is wound onto the bobbin.
