Wheel- and Matchlock Musket

A musket with a wheellock and additional matchlock. Eight-sided barrel and blackened stock of German type. Note the original inventory number 655 above the lock mechanism. All weapons in Count Wrangel's armoury were stamped in this fashion. The steel punches used for making the numbers are still in the collection at Skokloster.
