Description: In this panel, Valentini expresses interests that have always characterized his pictorial, graphic and sculptural language. The expressive balance of the concepts of light and space is a common investigation carried out in his work. The pure abstract geometry, with its strong emotional impact, dominates the composition, creating a perfect balance of forms. The background surface is dominated by white, which recalls his work in the late seventies. For the composition, Valentini was inspired by the divine proportion of the Renaissance, the “golden ratio” of the fifteenth century, which he learned about on his trips to Urbino when he was young. Currently not on display.
