London, United Kingdom

The White Lion in Westhoughton dates from the early 19th century. It retains remarkably intact 1920s improvements in the public and private areas, and is one of a small number of public houses in England that has remained substantially unaltered since 1945, including the unusual survival of a publican's office and bell pushes in all rooms. It is listed Grade II.
List Entry Number: 1429216.
