White Pointsettia for Christmas 09, on Highland.

It was the holiday season 2009 and kept having the words from the John Lennon song "an so this is christmas" go through my inner ear... "a very merry christmas and a happy new year, let's hope it's a good one, without any fear." I really had this song in my being while I was painting. At the time, the building was for lease. It became a center for disenfranchised youth, and the flower remained. A mural went up around it... with Gandi, by Brainwash. The entire building, along with the flower, was then covered bya mural in 2013. On Highland between Fountain and Santa Monica.
