Vienna Press January 5th, 1896.

Prof. Röntgen sent some copies of his publication to the Viennese University Professor Franz Exner on 1.1.1896. He showed the attached pictures to Prof. Ernst Lecher from Prague. His father Z.K. Lecher was editor of the Viennese daily newspaper "Presse". On January 5, 1896, the world learned with the article on page 1 "A sensational discovery" that there was a professor in Germany who can make pictures of people inside. Within days, the news was printed in many newspapers worldwide.
