Qiu Ti(Schudy)(1906-1958), born in Fujian provice. After graduating in Western art from Shanghai Fine Art School, she studied in Tokyo from 1928-1931.In 1931 she returned to China and became a researcher in Shanghai Fine Art School. She was the only woman painter in the Storm Society. After 1949 she became the member of China Artists Association. In 1956. She became the senior researcher in Central Academy of Craft Art.
