Alvarez's poetics advances properties that are intrinsic to sculpture into installations, adding to them a series of kinetic and optical resources that stir up the contradiction between what is seen and what is known. Mirrors, vibration and displacement of concepts demand interaction from the visitor with the sculptural object in order to broaden perception. The work "Wind of Ether" presents a chair of impersonal use and improbable stability, whose title suggests a brief existence - a volatile mass, almost undetectable.
